Tank and Reels

This is something I was trying in the basement one day while I was bored. It's basically a work of composition, light and shaddow, etc.

Minolta XG-M 35mm Manual Focus SLR
Exposure
1/4sec @ f/2.8 and 130mm (I think)
Film & Developer
Kodak Tri-X 400, Developed in D76
Paper & Developer
Scanned with Minolta Scan Dual (the original)
Lens Filter
none
Maybe you should get bored more often. I like these kind of shots and for me the exposure and DOF are spot on. The only slight distraction are the bands of different shades in the background.
 
I agree; a bit of burning in would do the trick.

Yeah, this is one of those situations where a manual focus camera comes in handy. :wink:

Perhaps I should try burning in the background a little. Will see what I can do,
