Brooklyn Bridge - Polywarmtone

..tried rescanning and these look a little better.

I'm trying to understand which works better and why- Please feel free to also comment on the image, print quality, etc.

Thanks

Wonderful Vic. I love the color of this version, it makes the detail stand out better and seems to isolate the bridge more as well.

Thanks alot Bill and Colin-this is very helpful info.
I'm noticing the softer images look alot better close up because the grain is much finer in those prints whereas it's much larger and a lot of detail is subsequently lost in darker images. Add Delta 3200 grain and a Holga it's practically pointilism. It's near impossible for me to get good scans of the darker ones. Cheers

wow Vic, this is just simply put...beautiful....Bill said it but i'll add you own that bridge! I really like the low zonal quality a lot...yeah, I think "Lith-Master" sums you up....

I need google Holga 'cause I don't even know what that is...

I really like this version. It has a terrific antique look that suits not only the bridge, but the skeletal remains of the foreground pilings. Let us know if these are being exhibited anywhere....I'd love to see the actual prints.

I feel like Max, Noodles, Patsy and Cockeye are about to walk into frame. A very atmospheric print, the toning fits perfectly.

Beautiful, Vic. You use the lith process so well to create an evocative atmosphere. This version evokes a stronger reaction for me.

All the best,
Daniel

Have to say the same as others, beautiful! I like the view with remains in foreground. And in this version (slow, fine grain, as I think) it has more detail and makes it stronger. So I vote for this version too
