Sun in limbo - Buckler's Hard

Summer dawn visit to the Beaulieu River. First choice location had wonderful boats and mist - but about a hundred geese spoiling the photographic possibilities. So on I went to Buckler's Hard.

This is about the 3rd shot made that morning, previous two were colour. I was trying to produce something a little bit different with the placement of the sun and the relative conjestion of LH side of the image against the space of the RHS.

Hey, I like this Baxter

It has a lovely calm feeling about it. Beautifully framed aswell.

Nice to see some of your black and white work

Thanks Stoo

I saved up a fair amount of film before having a burst of processing recently. Keep meaning to shoot more B+W, always enjoying the results often over the trannies if I've done both - seduced by colour at the taking stage!

I'll try to post a few more in the next week or so. Hope all is well with you.
