Apple in Bowl

I shot this by window light one day. I wanted to get closer but had a hard time with the 8x10. Did a lot of other things during the 2 hour exposure.

FP-4 Pyrocat HD 1:1:150 minimal agitation
Paper & Developer
Kentmere G-3, Amidol
Lens Filter

A shorter lens would help. You probably won't run into coverage problems at this distance. I did something similar, and used an 8.25". Two hour exposure, hmmm? A nice way to work...

Bet the contact print is wonderful...
 
very nice, isn't it great when negatives come out after a long exposure. Weston exposed pepper #30 for 8 hours.
I really like the different textures.
