Lower Owens River, 2007

This is another new picture from my ongoing long-term project photographing along the 62 miles of Lower Owens River and Owens River Delta area. This particular photograph was made slightly Northeast of Lone Pine.


This project is focused on a major habitat restoration effort in Eastern California that is attempting to undo the ecological damage caused by the loss of Owens Valley water to Los Angeles that began in the early 20th Century.
