very nice simple composition, I also like the details in the shadows, however to my taste you gave too much contrast lighting. I think less contrast would be enough to "sculpture" the object. Such contrasty light interferes with unity of the image, I think.

I like the way the texture has been brought out. How do you like the paper ? Is is one I have never tried.
