Daniel, you've created an unusually interesting photograph. It is hereby proven that the world isn't flat... I love this. I've sat here for at least five minutes just exploring. Some day hopefully I'll be so lucky to see the print with my own eyes. Very nice!

Thank you John, Vinny, Miles and Thom for your kind comments. I'm enjoying getting to know the rhythms, moods and gestures of this area after living in Southern California and the East Coast. There's a distinctive feel to this little patch of the midwest that continues to reward exploring.

This is really interesting and pretty, too. Kind of a trick of the eye..Looks like either tree reflections in the water or a double exposure.. kinda eerie (sp) and dreamy.
