Lone tree rabbitt key

After the hurricanes the past two seasons, many of the black mangroves look like this one. This was captured durring a very low tide on one of the many islands in the ten thousand islands.

very nice - did you use the Schneider rear filter or "hang one" over the lens?
 
Hi, thanks for the comments! I used a screw in red/orange filter on the front of the lens, it's one of the b&w ultra thin ones. I have a center filter for this lens but prefer the effect of not using it with black and white.

Can you say - dramatic! Phenomenal stark contrast and depth to this image. It's sucking me in like a tractor beam. In a perfect world I would have liked some more separation between the top branches and the sky beyond, but I'm really nitpicking now... Fantastic shot!
