I bought a Kiev-4 with Jupiter-8M 50mm lens as a gift to myself recently, and I've been very pleased with the quality and character of the lens. Plus, I've finally made the jump to using experience instead of a meter to make exposures, and my latest results on slide film have confirmed to me that it isn't that hard.

Great camera, great lens. Excellent choice
regarding guesstimating exposure - it really makes me think about what I'm trying to accomplish and that's a good thing.
Also-at 36 frames per roll, bracketing works well for more critical work.
