Rolleiflex TLR camera, Zeiss 80 mm f2.8 Planar lens.
Exposure
f8 at unknown shutter speed.
Film & Developer
FILM: Kodak TX ("Tri-X"), 120 format, at EI 400. FILM DEVELOPMENT: Rodinal 1:50, 20C, 20 minutes, normal agitation.
Paper & Developer
Ilford Warmtone FB paper, 16x20 inch sheet size; Developed in Ansco 120 print developer formula; Enlarger Durst L1200 with Multigraph light, 80 mm APO-Rodagon lens; Selenium toner (Kodak) diluted 1+5 at about 32C for 10 min.
Recently I posted a version of this portrait with a very contentious title and description. I'd like to thank the viewers who gave me meaningful and thoughtful responses. I decided to try the image minus the original title, but I did not realize the viewers' comments would also be deleted along with the image. Sigh. So apologies for the now-absent comments. --le
