Interesting results you get with the lith developer. Is this Agfa MCC118?
I like the grainy look, but the print feels a bit flat on my monitor. The texture is great, though, and it has a definite aged and days-of-old feel to it. How does the neg print in standard chemistry?
hi thanks for your comments the paper is agfa mcc 111fb classic . in normal developer the fall prints well at grade 3 although to the left of the fall needed dodging ,there was no detail in the sky so i cropped just below the tree line which made it look better as a normal print but i liked the look of the trees and sky with the lith
I really like the lith approach to this shot. I suspect it was quite a grey day as contrast is OK. Trees, sky and fall are excellent, but just a little too dark to the right of the fall for me. It's interesting how perception of a picture is influenced by personal exoerience - I once spent an hour sitting behind this waterfall watching the water roar over my head- mesmerising!
