Pretty much the first model I had a chance to shoot, for this particular image I used the Mamiya RB67 with the 90mm f/3.8C on it. I also shot my digital rebel, Zeiss Nettar 515, and my Canon P with the 21/4 that day. The film shots are still being developed and scanned, please be patient til then.
Wonderful composition - looks like you captured a bit of his personality here- The selectivity of that lens did just enough to make the background relevent but not detract from the subject. The jacket sleeves a little too short are a halmark of rapid growth in young folks that all adds to the overall message teens give us about needing to be different, as does his expression. Technically perfect.
Really nice, and funny.. The atmosphere is great, and the boy seems to hesitate between being grown-up and child, between being trendy and uncomfortable.
