Thank you all for your comments, very much appreciated. Ian the motivation behind taking this image around 3 years ago was that I was trying to learn everything about flash lighting and how different surfaces were affected by it, in this instance the stem and leaves of a tulip, I got lucky with this image in that I really did not know how it was going to turn out before hand, but it seems to work now I have revisited the image some years later.
