A BRIDGE FROM ELSEWHERE

One of my self guided projects is to photograph all the vintage truss bridges still extant in my part of Arkansas. This pony truss bridge is in a recreation area of a retirement trailer park near where I live. It was originally part of a series of bridges that crossed the Arkansas River in Muscogee County in Oklahoma. Originally built in 1921, it was moved here at some point, and painted swimming pool blue.

The irony is that this bridge has a double guard whereas the other bridge has nothing and even if there were no guards this one looks safer!

Great tonal range here. I can also count the bolts - well almost.
