Goofin' with a Fed

David, this might sound funny, but...what? Sorry. I've just come home from a long day, and maybe I'm tired out. This went right over my head. 747. Airbus. Maybe you could explain, and I'll come back and re-read it later. I'm going to feel silly if this is clear to everyone else, and I'm the only one who doesn't get it. Won't be the first time.

Wow don't know how I (nearly) missed this one. Another really cracking portraiture full of character and I can feel that beard. There again I have one of my own so maybe I can feel mine JandC Classic 200 in Rodinal even more interesting as I would have sworn it was Ilford so there is hope out there.

If you want to avoid the moody look, do what they always tell you when doing public speaking...imagine the audience, in this case the photographer, is naked...
...oh...wait...hmmm...that won't work in this case...but after all it is Halloween and a good freight shot would fit well! LOL

Dean, the Fed, Dean. Russian optics, like playing Russian roulette. You don't always get a good one, but when you do, it has character, like your portrait. I was responding to Mark's comment. Does that make sense? Regards, D.

Joey, no flash. Just a light fixture in the house, about 6-7 ft away, 120 watts. I was just fooling around if I remember right. It was a while back. I just went and checked my neg files. This was Rodinal 1:100. The time is smuged on the neg file, but I know this combo, and it should be in the 12-14 minute range.

Nice portrait. I believe burning down the lower lefthand corner would stregthen the print.
