this is gorgeous. Im flattered that a photo inspired by me is so damn nice.

I checked out a Kertesz exhibition at the Phillips Collection in DC, and I was amazed - AMAZED - at the number of these little jewels he did. The smaller format really makes the viewer examine them closely. That tone and texture...amazing how much you want to wrap yourself in them like a blanket but for the hard-edged keys of the piano. Really nice.

Jeremy! This is beautiful....I'm with cjarvis... the tones and textures could almost be described as 'luscious'... how wonderful that something so everyday can take on such focus in your hands.
