Okay, it's only photographed by ten thousand tourists every day, but when my "new" 105mm lens arrived, I had to run out and try it out on the nearest photogenic thing.

Yes, it is a frequently photographed subject, but I think you could have redeemed it if you cropped out the top third and just had the gold sculpture and background fountains.
 
I think the comment about the cropping is right but the gold colour is amongst the best I've seen in colour neg film.

I must give Reala a try sometime soon
