Tuberculosis Hosp.

Tuberculosis Hosp.

A real curiosity to me--an abandoned Tuberculosis Hosp --still full of beds and such and the ceiling panels dangling in the rooms----- not a great shot but a curiosity still !! TB Hospitals are a tad before my time!! The 80 mm was my only lens at that time for the 7II and not the best choice !

One of the hospitals in Tucson started out as a tuberculosis treatment center. TMC or Tucson Medical Center was the big deal for lung related illness in the 30's and 40's. The original adobe two story buildings are still standing at the front of a greatly expanded facility today and are used for admin.
