Lilies

Lilies

The lily pads and grasses contrasted against the water in the lake fascinated me....I knew that shooting in infrared would emphasise the contrast. Comments welcome, if you like..thanks :)

I like this-the grasses and lillipads loose their individual identity with infrared and the highlighted grasses in the foreground increase the contrast and seperation even
further.

Another incredibly beautiful image! Once again, thanks.

I agree this is beautiful, almost like a glowing Monet (hope you don't mind the comparison).

~TPPhotog~ I absolutely adore much of Monet's work, I have always wanted to visit his garden at Giverny! Although I didn't consciously think of Monet when I made the picture...it's possible somewhere in my mind I remembered something of his work and took some of that inspiration with me. So I don't mind that comparison at all....thank you

Beautiful image! I also love to shoot the Kodak B&W Infrared. I looked at your web site and WOW your work is amazing.
