Cedar Ridge Cave

Located next to I-24 west of Chattanooga this cave is kept under lock and key by the local Grotto (local chapter of the NSS) to protect it from vandalism by local know-nothing partyers. This shot is by the light of another cavers headlamp seen behind the formation near center. The cave is famous to the area cavers for its fine formations for such a small cave.

Well caught and composed (which must have been difficult in those conditions). Love the flare!

Cool. Spelunking gives me the willies, but this looks like a neat place to explore.

All the best,
Daniel

 It's caving, Dlin, Caving. To spelunk is the process of getting clumsy and falling in the pool of water you encounter whilst underground. Named after the sound created by that act. SPE-LUNK!!!

WOW!!! That is incredibly cool! (Well, actually a constant cool...perfect for wine storage  ) I just love it!
