Julie Winter

Picture of a friend's daughter taken a couple of winters ago in the backyard.
The Wattle tree is profusely flowering in the background, which is what really enhances this picture for me.

Mick this is just glowing with beautiful color. I had not heard of a Wattle tree but it is the perfect background her. A perfect portrait taken at a magic moment. She is stunnning, what did she have to say about the photo?

Curt, Julie had just had her hair cut from quite long, to a Mia Farrow look and was a bit worried about how she looked. We agreed this was the best frame on the contact sheet, so I enlarged it. First to 8x10" then to 12x16".
The 12x16" print, is the one she told her husband to be, "it's going to be professionally framed".
It has pride of place in their lounge.
She was tickled pink.
The wattle tree is IFIRC, part of the Acacia family of trees and is part of the national colours of Australia which are green and gold. They flower in winter through to spring, and are really wonderful.
Mick.

Mick, it's just professional all the way. The colors really make it work.

Curt
