Newlyn under a dawn sky

Visit to my favourite part of the world in October. Struggled with movement of the foreground boats from wakes of the fishing vessels using the port during the long exposures.

However, I think it is a good thing that we do still have a fishing industry, albeit decimated by recurring inability of British Government to fight our corner in EU.

Awesome colours and composition Baxter. And yes that's how Aussies really spell colour !

Beautiful as always.

Thanks Peter, Barry, Eric and Mark.

This was one of those mornings which got better after a less than promising start with a completely clear sky. Also had a fuzzy head from playing in the hotel bar....

Chap walked past and said hadn't I tired of the view having been in same spot previous day. No I hadn't and how could you tire of this view? Previous day had been much flatter in lighting terms and had a much cooler mood. Viewpoint is on edge of main road through Newlyn, so not an exclusive secret spot of mine!
