Sisters and a cousin in Arkansas/Missouri, shot for a magazine last weekend. We had a blast shooting all day, and I'm very happy to not have to design the mag ad myself!
Too much fun stuff to choose from.
Thanks, guys. The girls are high-level equestrian competitors and the project was to promote them and their trainers . These sorts of ads are usually incredibly tacky digital color shots with every photoshop filter in the book added for good measure. They wanted something much more edgy and artistic, which was right up my alley.
Along with this shot, we shot in the arena, in costume, on a trampoline, having a hay fight, grooming their horses, everything from competition stuff to young teenage girl silliness.
The cousin is the girl at the top. The girls' ages are 12, 13, and 14.
Must try and take some good farming photos when spring rolls around here again, but this is an excellent shot. I finally got around to looking over most of your shots as one of the famous people that get brought up around here from time to time, and this is a great example of your talent. I like the tonality of the back wall especially, the corrugated iron is very cool.
