Your timing was impeccable to catch the long, raking shadows that bring this picture to life. Its quality is in the light. I would prefer that the balcony with the foliage was in the upper-right of the frame, so as to make the most of its shadow, but only you know what this would have provided on the left, so my comment may not be pertinent.

This, too, is a great candidate for toning or lith printing. A brown or sepia would add warmth and showcase the age of the building and location.
