Dog End

Yes, I have stooped to the all-time low of posting the family pet! But, what do you do when there's a few frames left on a test roll? Shoot the dog! Most shots of this beastly Bichon bitch exist on frames 33-37!

A few frames? Why do I have several roll's worth of similar pictures? Of a silk terrier that isn't even mine?

Seriously, though, I am fascinated by the phenomenon that these pictures look great even though the portion of the frame in focus is relatively small (eyes, nose). For a long time I was of the "maximize depth of field" school, until a few pictures like this changed my mind....

Say what you want, I like it! Really like the way you handeled the DOF it works beautifully.
