Know that you an see your grandmothers hands on these. It is a great way to visualize and remember our anchestors and the tools they depended on every day.

Dan, these simple handles must have associated with them a whole host of sensory and emotional memories- the smells, feel, sounds and tastes of a family kitchen. The photograph invites one to imagine from our own experiences.

Thanks for bringing back memories from my childhood. We had a small summer cottage by the side of a river and the wood stove had those handles...
