I like your trend of making prints of ordinary things. We should all do more of this and not think we have to travel half way around the country for photographic ideas. (Not that travel and photography is bad.) Your prints show good vision and technique. Keep it up.

Jim, I'm a tinkerer by nature and there's something satisfying about playing around with whatever I have at hand to see if I can create something beautiful, or at least interesting. It's also one of the few things I can do photographically after the family has gone to bed .
Dan, yes the lid is from the same mason jar I used in previous posts. The pattern and quality of light created by the glass changes dramatically with different light sources. In this photograph I used a highly focused small light source and adjusted the distance and angle to create the effect.
