Denis, you have the center of the composition in focus but neithert the foreground nor infinity. Was that your intent? It is possible to have both near and far in sharp focus as well as the central area in acceptable focus. Thanks for sharing.

I just noticed your 5.6 aperture

It almost looks like a scale model, doesn't it? Pretty cool.

Stopping down to f16 would help too.

Dave and Frank, the intention was exactly what you see (only the center "stripe" in focus). Like I stated in the description, I was messing 'round with front tilt - I never actually used much the camera movements before, and I wanted to se how far I can push it, without the image "falling apart" and becoming too "artificial". I know I could have zeroed all the movements, or applied the tilt "the other way round", or stopped down - and could have had everything in focus, but that was not my intention. I wanted to see what I'd get with front tilt (upwards). I kind of like the result. It's an experiment, not a landscape done "by the book". Think of it as an "impressionistic" photo.
This is just a possible "interpretation" of the scene, somewhat interesting, and a bit different from a usual snapshot - and definitely more appealing to my vision.
