Thanks for your comments, John, Tony, and Carl. John, I like and have been using both the Ilford warmtone and Forte polygrade V papers- the choice depends on the particular image I'm printing. Polygrade V is a neutral/cool paper before toning, and I tend to use it when I'm after cooler warmtones, if that makes any sense (darker browns as opposed to golden hues), and cool/warm splits with selenium and/or thiocarbamide toning. The paper base white is also noticeably brighter relative to MGWT, which suits some images better. We're lucky to have both options to play with- let's hope it stays that way.
