Millenium Beacon - Sept 06

Keep returning to this local landmark, which is actually not that big, but in a great location. Shame the tide was out.....

Trying to minimise distortion, centred beacon and focussed. Then used movements to place in a more effective part of the frame.

Threw out QLoad packet, so sorry, no specific exposure/filter info

Very nice. Had the tide not been out, the water would probably have been more of a distraction. As it is, the eye is drawn neatly towards the beacon, and there is enough water there to give context.
 
I'm not kin to color very often, but this is one I like. It may be the fact the tone was taken into account as well as light placement and color was a secondary part of it.
