The sky was clear? the mottleness was more apparent but I tried to blend it a bit. It does look like a mist but there was no mist at the time. I was using an orange filter to darken the sky. i think it was an invisible pollutant that the filter highlighted.there is the same thing on other exposures that day.
Excellent surreal landscape with the wind generators. The mottling looks to me to be a developer issue as it carries on in the road area, just not as evident.
ordinarily power lines distract me, but in this image they, along with the fence on the other side of the road, and the line of windmills, all work with the road to guide the eye, which I find pleasing. Too bad about the sky, otherwise this would be a real winner!
I would just like to congratulate you, not only on this photograph, but all the work you have posted in such a short space of time. You have an ability to see an image in what most certainly Myself and many other keen eyed photographers would just happlessly walk right by.
Such as 'Light 2' In my opinion, a photo that holds its own simply because of the light. It appears to be a photo of not much content yet keeps my eyes dancing around it, and I'm sure the scan does it no justice. Then there is 'Ebay fence' very simple, with only three elements in the photo, fence, grass and sky, but together they all make a great photograph. Simple yet very pleasing (imo)
My favourite has to be'Tree Hill' Superb photo
Elegant composition raising the banal to a higher level. I think the sky work could be a little more subtle without detracting from the overall power of this shot. Well done.
