Thanks for the very kind words. This image was released as a series of 4 images of NYC including the Statue of Liberty in November of 2001 as a response to 9/11. The image has not been displayed for some years. It had interest soon after 9/11 but sales faded quickly and though the lighting is very special and dramatic (you could not have had this lighting with both Towers visible from say Hoboken), and the composition is somewhat unusual people generally complained that only 1 Tower was readily visible. Well, not being a New Yorker, having only one building didn't bother me. I think it was a great job with the reflections ... but, we both know that the public doesn't always like the image we think they will.

I like this one a lot Richard. Beautiful light and a scene that will always be cherished.

Great shot; Thanks for posting; I use to walk through those buildings almost every day including 'that' day and was always struck by the enormity of those structures that dwarfed 60 story structures around it . I live very close to the spot you took this from and can attest that the city is bigger, stronger, louder, brighter and more dazzling than ever.
