Wow - very elegant.

I love the pose and what you've done with the dark outfit against the dark background, she is a wonderful model for sure, but I find the left part of her face too overexposed in contrast to the tones of the rest of the composition.

I would agree with you. I've got to get better with my scans. I'm finding that I'm seeing the highlights blow out on several of the prints. I guess I just need to take more time with the digital images I'm making from the prints.

Lovely shot, the hair and fabric reinforce one another in a really striking way.

I'm sure your print is well-toned in the face, this scan is entirely blown-out... I took a quick gander in PS (20-second fiddling with curves) and found that if anything you can get a little better apparent separation of the fabric wrap and the BG if you compress the midtones a bit more (of course, that won't restore the lost tones in the highlights, they need to be there or... they're not there).

There's a natural inclination to want to scan "straight" but really delicate tones in a print (like this one has) have a hard time coming across in a contrastier medium like a computer monitor. The highlights on the monitor pull your eye away from the darks in a stronger way than they do on paper... so letting them press down closer to the shadows gives a feeling that I'd guess is probably closer to that of your original paper print.
