Thanks guys. Heh heh... eBay, where else???? 20 bucks for the biggest one I could find. I 'painted' the head of the thistle which photographed almost black otherwise. Total exposure was about 40 sec. I painted for about 1/2 the time. I'm also going to try it for burning in on pt/pd prints.

Looks great here but in the hand I'm sure this is stunning - still remember you having to prise them out of John Brewers hands when you showed them at your workshop over here! When do we see one of the clan?

Hehe, Carl, I did find Kerik's wet plate images rather 'sticky' in my hands I must admit. I still get cold sweats from the withdrawal of having to hand them back......J
