Agreed. I like the the way you've balanced the tonality of the sky and foreground
 
This is one to hang on the wall and give it pride of place.

Right, well firstly you really should have... :wink:

Simple is best. Very simple, very effective. Whats more it is local to you which is even better.

As an aside, although some Roman Loranc shots I find to overpowering, dark, OTT, some I find wonderful. He has done remarkable things with ordinary scenes. Ones that people could walk right through and not see as he does.

This image is also reminiscent of some of Barry Thornton's squarely composed simple tree images with a bit of Roman Loranc drama/toning to it, without being overpowering. I am confusing myself now. In short. Jolly good show.
