My colleague, Maxim Antipin, posing me for my very first test of Schneider Tele-Arton 250/5.6, the longest lens I have on my 4x5 setup. I like the result very much, though the lighting is quite typical - all depends on the model :)
Thanks for your comments, friends - I am glad to see that you like my work I've intentionally used a carefully balanced (2:1 ratio) lighting, because this shot was intended to be a simple lens test - nothing special. Thanks to my colleague, an excellent model, this portrait turned out to be better than expected by author
I would ask Max to pose me for more - in fact, he's a frequent observer of me jumping around my 4x5 and reciting mantras like "Please please don't shift yourself, I'm already pulling out the darkslide"
what a pity I am so far from Crete with my Toyo! I've seen your portraits, and you're an excellent model too - not to mention, a very good photographer, too
