No Parking in NoHo

I had seen this old couch on the sidewalk under a freeway overpass for a couple of weeks before I could get some free time to shoot it. This turned out to be my favorite composition, in spite of it not being 'the shot' I saw in my head.

I like the lighting and lines that you have here but feel that you need to get much closer to the couch to feature it more as a compositional element.

I reckon by crossing the street and getting the sign and couch in the bottom left of the frame could work. Of course this may not be possible but would be worth the effort.

I normally am not a fan of great dark spaces in a photograph but for some esoteric reason this one seems to work! It kind of makes me feel like I am speeding toward the couch. (If that makes any sense...)
