Oh my! The perspective and energy of the moment is tremendous! I love the mystery of the completely black figure, his muscles shinning in the sun, the motion of the balls, the cloud in the back and the delicious grain (btw, why so much grain? 6x6 and HP5+ is quite smooth)!

Aristotelis - The zone plate is inherently low contrast, so I boosted the contrast by extended film development and printing with a "hard" filter.

Marianne - I've enjoyed seeing your images as well -- especially the lith prints. The process seems well suited to your subjects and composition.
