I think that if she represents the mythical lady of the trees, she has to be somehow more mythical looking. She falls between two stools here. She doesn't look at home enough for a lady of the trees. I think you've chosen to depict a very difficult scene and my admiration for trying but a more ethereal feel needs to be conjured up.

How? Sorry if I could answer that, I'd have a go myself. My attempt would be laughable which yours isn't but it's just not there yet.

Well, we do plan on doing some *cough cough* digital manipulation for the actual end product (a calendar). I didn't have much time to plan and set up this shoot so I was working with what the MUA could do for her makeup and the natural lighting at the location.

I still wanted to share the analog result with everyone here though.
