Taken at Meijer Gardens. If you go there I would hide from the guys on golfcarts. They are security guards that will give you the third degree if you are caught with a tripod but as long as you tell them your a hobbiest you will be fine.
Tell them you need the tripod to protect yourself from this horse who looks so "alive" that it will charge any minute. You've turned metal into flesh. Looks great
This is very good, although you might try burning down the lower left corner and the small white pole a bit more. In any case it works well as it is. The sky compliments the statue nicely.
I think you don't need to excuse yourself for the scan with that one! It's quite the most striking tones I've seen on a monitor in a long long time. I fear you will create a horde of silver bullet chaser who will jump on Delta + PyroHD!
Also, I really like the lone tree at the back, it balances the composition pretty well.
The original artist was Leonardo da Vinci, in case you didn't know. Kinda hard to improve on that, but John presented the magnificent sculpture very well.
No, I did'nt know that, Leonardo da Vinci was the original artist, how simply marvelous. But, I do know that this sculpture is by Nina Akamu and is titled "The American Horse" and it was created as a tribute to Leonardo da Vinci. Yes, John has presented this image very well, as I've already stated.
