This is a Polaroid transfer made during the shoot using my Speed Graphic. It was transferred onto watercolor paper. I like the liftoff and the way the lighting works with the process.
There is no traditional print. This was a Polaroid transfer done during the shoot. I did a series of them and each one is unique. There are no negatives or anything. I have other work from the same shoot done on negative but this one is one of a kind.
i love the model and the colors of her skin, the expression on her face..she's old world, somehow. i like the idea and the textures so much but wish that smear didn't cut such a significant diagonal swath across the middle of her. All the others add to the complexity of the image but that one seems to distract from the overall richness of the tonality. i'd love to see more from this shoot. kat~
I hope you will post the traditional prints from the same shoot. Color or B&W? I agree with the old world comment. The face looks as if from a Rembrandt painting. Wonderful quality.
