Fireworks Over Wigfield Lake

Fireworks Over Wigfield Lake

Taken over the weekend. Had some film to burn and opened the shutter and left the camera alone for about an hour. Near the end the first firework went off and I quickly closed the shutter.

when you do these long multi-minute or hours long exposure, are you usually opening up your lens all the way? Just curious.

Jeff, typically I will open the lens to f/5.6 for a long night exposure. During long daytime exposures using a Neutral Density Filter I may go anywhere between f/5.6 to f/22 or greater depending on the lens I am using at the time.

Real nice work !!!
