Wandering around a little village in Vietnam and I could see a woman toasting large flatbreads in an alley. I asked her how they were made (thanks Google Translate), and she invited me into her home to show how her son made them. Made entirely from scratch in their own home.

What a coincidence... I recently saw an ad for a trip to Hanoi, (october?), and i thought "that would be interesting!" As I perused the site I saw a quote of "G Broadbridge" and thought, "hey, I know that guy!"

Even with your imprimatur, and the interesting result from your trip there, I still won't have the time. A vicarious thrill is about the closest I'm gonna get!

Wow, that quote is from a trip back in 2022, but I've visited a couple of times since then. It's a very photogenic and friendly place.
FYI, that photo expedition is no longer being led by the same guy (he retired after last year).
