Thanks very much for the kind words. It does look somewhat painterly. Yes, this and sunset are my favorite times of the day. The prints of this are even warmer in color than they appear on the monitor. The magentas and purples pick up in the sky more in the large prints and the larger the image is printed, the greater the visual impact. The sun is actually burried somewhere I believe in one of the 2 bright orange areas behind the mountains. Rich
