The river is less than a 10 min walk. I had a close encounter with a bear while taking the shot I posted here. I had to scramble up a steep incline to get out of its way. They are out looking for food. Not really worried as they don't bother with people generally speaking. I have been to Riverview a few times and will get out there again when I get a chance.
