With the strength of feeling there seems to be in Edinburgh, a game at Tynecastle or Easter Road against one of the Maccabi teams in any competition might be " interesting". In terms of the risk to civil order one wonders if the Scottish Government or the city fathers would even allow it

There appears to be more action on the Palestine situation than seems to be the case elsewhere in the U.K.

If one of the Maccabi teams pitched up at Tynecastle or Easter Road there would be serious concerns raised by Edinburgh Action for Palestine , and indeed Edinburgh Council. Celtic Park would be a problem. EAFP are well organised and liaise closely with the police before each protest. The protest and march on Saturday attracted a huge crowd in the rain.
