Trip to Battlesbridge in Essex famous for loads of Antiques Shops -- I took my 1960 ROLLEIFLEX 2.8 F Planar and took the SAME photo on my little MINOX 35GT to compare
Minox 35mm cameras are trouble prone and some models batteries no longer exist, but when they work the work exceptionally well. I always keep a couple in my collection. I'm using a GT and the Touring model, but the one with the best lens ever was an old EL that I stupidly sold. What is your opinion pentasxpete?
That mirrors my findings about these little gems. I have a Rollei 35 with Tessar also, but I actually like carrying, using and the results of the little Minox better. If you got one that works don't ever sell it. Yours looks very sharp indeed.
It was a GIFT from an Old Gent who met me when I was on a Coach Holiday to Whitby, North Yorkshire -- he saw me with an Old Classic and said he had some Old Camereras in his Loft and sent them just for price of Postage -- I also got a Kodak Brownie flash with the Minox and some other stuff which I can't remember.
