Thanks, Mick! I basically have to cut the development time in half to do this, otherwise it just blocks-up like crazy at the recommended 12 minute D76 1:1 time Ilford suggests. I am mixing my own D76 with distilled water, but it seems suspiciously strong with this film stock.
I want to try this stock next with XTOL and see what happens.
I did note the development time being what it was; and wondered ever so slightly. This may be an expensive conversation as I may pick up a 25 sheet box of Delta 100.
For a while I made an XTOL home brew developer, but switched back to D76 home brew, the results were virtually identical, but the cost of the Ascorbic stuff was prohibitive in comparison to D76 from raw chemistry.
Using FP4+ D76 1:1 and at 23ºC, I'm inverting for 13' give or take depending on the temperature drop.
I mix my D76 from scratch as well (last 30 years) but I just use tap water and when decanting for developing, I use a coffee filter to get the little bits of stuff out of the solution.
This may give you an idea of FP4+ through my system.
