Across the Forth.

Taken in early August. I don't know why the woman just to the left of centre is standing in the water. The canoeists were on their way up the Forth to probably the East Neuk. The Isle of May is left of centre, and Arthur's Seat on the top right. There is an aeroplane up there.

Just out of curiosity can the "depth" of the sepia tone be altered by time or is it always this tone i.e. there is a standard completion time which always results in more or less the same brown tone

I'm not an expert but the depth can be altered by time in the bleach and/or the sepia toner. For this print I kept the print in the bleach until the highlights were gone and the dark tones were considerably diminished. I kept the print in the Sepia until completion. I don't know if there is a standard completion time which always results in more or less the same brown tone.
