A picture that prompts questions such is she looking at the pedestrian and he at her If she is looking at him is it because his sudden appearance in the window made her take notice? In contrast the gent at the table appears to have his full attention on something on the table we cannot see. It is these sort of things that hold the viewer's attention and that's what's any good picture does

Was this taken at box speed?

Thanks pentaxuser. With the Rollei I invariably guess the exposure and shutter speed, but I would have developed the film for 800iso.

Thanks Daniela. She has her hand on the teapot but seems to be looking at the "main suspect". I wonder what the gentleman on the left is looking at? We'll never know.

Whenever I'm in this part of the city I'll drop in here for a coffee and possibly some lunch. There's always something going on the Thomas J Walls cafe. The coffee shop was formerly one of the senior optometrists in the Old Town. It's always busy with wealthy students and tourists.

Points are awarded for the enigmatic photograph, and also the most outlandish explanation.

For example, no one has got it thus far,🤔, yes the womans hand is on the tea, but whose the victim? the perpetrator? is that man an innocent passerby or criminal mastermind?

I daresay SJC could present many images for our imaginations to dissect. the game is afoot?

Thanks jvo. A Photo challenge of the month "What's Goin' on Here?" would be intriguing. When I was setting the photograph up I was wondering what the gentleman was up to, and then out of nowhere the other guy appears. He has to be a criminal mastermind.
